Introduction

Hello,


My name is Colby Fraser and I attend Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Currently, my major is network engineering. I plan on changing my major to computer programming. My dream job would be owning my own programming company where I would subcontract projects. My expectations, however, are to be at least a lead project manager at a well-known company.


I have a few hobbies. I enjoy snow boarding and video games. I signed up for Ski and Snowboarding club here at school, as well as Psychology Club. I love riding my bike and BMX. Video editing in Sony Vegas Pro is fun as well.


I am from the small town of Pembroke, New Hampshire. I have lived in New Hampshire for my whole life, half of it in the city, the other in a town. I hope to gain needed knowledge to succeed in this industry from this class and future classes.

Video Project

Downtown Providence is beautifully. Luckily, this is were my college campus is located. In the past week, I took multiple picture of down city campus, as well as pictures of McNulty Hall. I re-sized these photos in paint and renamed them, so that I knew which picture was which. I organized the pictures within sub folders within the main folder "images_ColbyFraser". The sub-folders are "Dorm", "Campus", and "City Life". Here is a picture of the file directory:

A movie was then made with movie. Captions and transitions were added to the pictures. Here is the first video from activity two:



I exported this as a video and then made a new project. I added the video I just made and one of the free way in providence. I added the song "Internet Friends"- Knife Party. I snipped the intro of the song and faded the ending out. I had to redo the credits to add the song. I have had experience with Song Vegas Pro, which is a video editing software well above movie maker. It was difficult to create a video using such a basic program. However, the video came out well. Below is the final video:
